World Knife Throwers Guild
MISSION STATEMENT:
- In order to form a world brotherhood of throwers, all
facets of the Knife Throwing sport need to be promoted and
represented evenly. With all the clubs and Associations
(not ruled by) but under one flag.
- Members will be recognized in their field of expertise.
Throwing Knife: Competitors, Dealers, Makers, Performers,
Writers, and also as leaders of their Associations.
- To test new knives.
Recognizing the many different methods of knife making, without bias.
Comparing factory knives in one category and custom or hand-built, in
another. Members will be recognized for their skill and
achievements.
- To promote interest in knife throwing.
Answer questions from beginners or send them to someone or to an
association who can help them.
- To set standards of good conduct and sportsmanship.
- To educate beginners and recognize the professionals and showmen.
- Post and promote all knife throwing, contests, demonstrations and shows.
- To sponsor contests with products, personnel, coverage and services.
