Outdoor Targets

Mike Bainton's Traveling Target!
This target is built right into a trailer. It folds down and in and can then be towed anywhere you like. Great for teaching at other locations, great for events, and you won't have to worry if the targets are decent where you're going to be throwing.

Performance Target From Brett Copes
This one has a steel frame that can come apart into pieces for travel. The Wood Target pieces can be removed and/or turned around for different designs painted on either side.

What Can I Do With Half A Log?
Need a good base for your outdoor target rounds? Check out this setup from SE WI!

High, medium and low throws will keep you on your toes!
You can practice throwing down near the ground or at a target up in a tree... it beats throwing at the same bullseye every day!

Target Range From Pat Minter
Pat has a target setup for every kind of tournament he plans on entering, and he practices on certain targets depending on which event is coming up!

Target Ideas From Damon Wilson
There are 2 different target ideas shown here. One is for tomahawks and there are also pics of Damon's regular targets for throwing knives/spikes at.

Outdoor Target In Poland

Here's a target design from a thrower in Poland. It works great for practicing your high, medium and low throws!

Poor Man's Tree Round

For anyone who doesn't have access to normal tree rounds, here is a great way to make one out of scrap 2X4's!!!

Improving Your Target

These pictures show that you can learn from each setup you make. Learn from past mistakes and you can make the next one even better!

Outdoor Backstop/Target

This is my latest target design. Its about 7'6" tall and 7' wide... reminds me of a sail on a pirate ship. (Maybe I'll get a flag pole? :)

Modified Picnic Table

This is the best thing to do with an old picnic table! With only a few modifications you can attach all types of targets to it and you can practice throwing at high and low targets.

A Portable Target

Here is a target that can be taken down and setup in about 10 minutes and the materials only cost around 20 bucks!!!

Portable Target Stand

This is my new target stand. It holds big or small logs and is also very easy to move.

Jim's Targets

Here are about 600 pounds of targets!

Chris's Outdoor Target

This is another way to use your "laundry line" pole!

Ed's Outdoor Target

The crib on which this target rests is assembled out of firewood.

Chuck's Outdoor Targets

Chuck has sent us lots of great pics for this section! The target to the left is made up of 200 2X4's!!!

John's Targets

John definitely has the hot set up when it comes to outdoor targets!

Matt's Targets

Another great example of an outdoor target!

David's Targets

There are 2 reasons why this is a great setup... any ideas?

Carl's Targets

Here is Carl's outdoor set up for his knives and hawks.

Rich's Outdoor Targets

A great way to take advantage of an existing "clothes drying setup".

Jim's Outdoor Targets

A large target in Jackson, MI that uses smaller logs to fill in the cracks.
