LOUISIANA THROWERS ![]() "I do some throwing with the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medieval/renaissance recreational group. I'm just starting to get the hang of the axe. Knife is tougher than axe. I prefer the heavy throwing Bowies from James Townsend. We throw spear too, but I haven't gotten around to making one for myself!" ![]() "I'm 33 yrs old and have been throwing since 1984. I prefer the handle style, but can use the blade just as well. I'm in The Marine Corps, so throwing bayonets is second to breathing for me. I can pretty much stick anything you put in my hand. My favorite brand is TRU-Balance (14 ounce). My best achievement is 3 sticks in a row at a telephone pole 55 feet away! (Tru Balance 14 ounce). I'd like to match my skills and socialize with any throwers/mountain men in the area. Get the point!" ![]() "I practice daily and want to meet people who can show me something new. I throw spikes, screwdrivers, kitchen knives, single edged axes, shop scissors, etc. My best throw was 3 bulls in a row with 3 - 5", 99-cent store, screwdrivers from 10 feet. If you can get your thrower out of the target with only one hand... You're just throwing warning shots." ![]() "This is my throw set up. The iron silhouettes are for my sling shot and my wood target is a laminated 2x6 beam. I'm a beginner thrower and if someone would like to come to my house, they are welcome to throw. And if they need a place to shoot rifles I have a 300 yard shot." ![]() "I'm looking for people around my area to throw with for a little friendly competition and to learn new things. So look me up and lets throw some. P.S. I'll throw anythang and try to... and it seems I like to make faces when I throw. LOL." ![]() "Hi, im Wes. Thrower originally from Alaska living in Louisiana with no place to throw. If you have a dedicated throwing area, I am looking for throwers! I also have my own portable target if there is anyone in the area that is looking for someone to throw with!"
