Dan Jeners - Grimes, IA"I hadn't seen any long-grain targets like I have on this site or any other, and decided to try it out. It is pine, but the long-grain is certainly not as soft as an end-grain 'wheel' would be. My first throws with my new 14" Cold Steel throwers just bounced right off -- point first! Okay, so it was a lazy 1/2 spin throw. More power and full spins solved that problem. Hitting the knots will cause even my big knives to bounce off, but overall I am very happy with the target."
