Here are a couple of pics from when my new friend Dave Fettig stopped by for his first throwing lesson. (Dave has been addicted to the art of "Balisong" - spinning, flipping, twisting and twirling a "Butterfly Knife" for about the past 8yrs.) He was a natural with the throwing knives and hawk. Below are a couple pics from that night: 
It was light for about the first hour that we were throwing but then it got dark fast. After a couple "warm up shots" Dave got the feel for throwing and started sticking atleast 3 out 5 knives each round. 
Even 5 out of 5 knives stuck a few times from 1 spin and 1 1/2 spins! All these knives were thrown from a full spin (about 12'). For his first time throwing he did awesome! Thanks again for making the trip out Dave, it was another great day of throwing. Come back anytime!
