MOUNTAINMAN CHALLENGE 2001 The Rocky Mountain Knife & Tomahawk Throwing Championships will be held the 7th and 8th of July, 2001 in Creede, CO. EVENTS Mens and Womens Professional Class Mens, Womens and Juniors Class ENTRY FEES Mens and Womens Professional: $50 Advanced $75 Day of the Event Mens and Womens Amateur: $20 Advanced $30 Day of the Event Juniors: $10 RULES All Contestants Must Wear Pre - 1840's Dress. All Contestants Will Throw in a Safe Manner. Safety Comes First! All Knives Will Be Primitive Throwers; The Handle Material Must Be Made of Natural Materials, (Leather, Antler, Wood, Bone, or Rawhide). The Blade of the Knife Will Not Be Over 2" Wide. Knives Will Be Thrown by the Handle Only. Tomahawks Will Have a Separate Head and Wood Handle. Tomahawks Will Not Have a Cutting Edge To Exceed 4". No Double Bit or Spikes. No Taped Handles.
